How a Race Night Works
The Race Night is run under the 1976 lotteries and Amusements act and is a perfectly legal way of raising funds for all types of clubs and organizations (not for personal gain). The Race Night should not be the sole attraction of the evening, you could combine it with a Disco or a Buffet.
We supply the races all filmed in full colour from our extensive library all of which have eight runners identified by number only. All the races have close finishes to keep you audience cheering and on the edge of their seats right to the end.
The race Night takes place at a venue arranged by your organization where our presenter will show the race films using a state of the art Multi-Media projection system and a quality PA system for crystal clear sound and vision. Ticket sellers provided by your organization (only your people handle the money) sell the tote tickets provided by us for each race in turn and the odds will be worked out by our presenter. Our presenter will then ask a member of the audience to choose the race AFTER the betting has been closed and the pay out for each runner in the race will be announced and then the race is run. Winning tickets are then paid out at the pay out desk manned by one of your organization or at the tote desk by your ticket sellers.
